The Coot Pub and cafe is a friendly, warm, and family run business, the perfect spot for any occasion.

Whether you're in the mood for a cuppa, a drink with friends or a delicious meal, we’ve got you covered.
Enjoy a lovely breakfast to start your day off right or our lunchtime menu that offers a range of tasty options from light bites to pub classics and homemade specials, there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget to save room for a sweet treat from our menu!

Our seasonal Sunday Roasts, available September - May are not to be missed and we recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

But it’s not just about the food and drink – we are all about creating a fun and social atmosphere here at The Coot. Our large sunny garden and patio are the perfect spots to unwind and relax with family and friends. And with regular live music, monthly events such as, quiz nights, open mic nights, karaoke, bingo and rock n roll bingo, there’s always something to look forward to.

And, of course, no pub would be complete without some great sport on our TV’s! We show most sporting events on sky sports and TNT, so you can catch all the action. Plus, we’ve got a dartboard and pool table and leagues for those who want to get competitive.

We are more than just a pub, opening our doors to the community with our regular coffee mornings, including working with Age UK and The Phoenix Stroke Club. And of course, we are dog friendly too. Our in house Schnauzer, Bertie will greet you at the door with a bark and wagging tail!
